LAPS FOR LIFE - JUST KEEP SWIMMING
The staff team were back in the pool this morning, starting in the dark. Backstroke was the choice of stroke first up as we admired the moon above us. With a goal of 2200 laps we are over half way - with next Friday being the last opportunity to swim our laps in March.

Meet the 2025 P&C Executive

Hello from your 2025 P&C Executive team! This year we have two returning executive members from 2024 and four fresh new faces, all ready to continue the good work supporting the school community. While some of our faces may be familiar, you may not know that much about us... here's a little snapshot of who we are and why we are all here.
Click here to find out if President Ray likes beaches or mountains, does Secretary Alissa prefers camping or glamping, what is Treasurer Kylie's favourite quote, why VP Johnathon decided to renominate as VP for 2025 and does VP Sonya have a sweet or savoury tooth. You also simply must read VP Max's favourite memory from his school days.
Please reach out to the team if you'd like to chat. We're hoping to meet you in coming months at our regular P&C meetings or at one of our upcoming events.
Don't forget - on Wednesday and Friday mornings for the whole of Semester 1, representatives of the P&C will be on the deck (opposite our Tuckshop) and ready to catch up for a coffee or a chat if you just want to say hi, or you'd like to raise any issues for P&C consideration. Drop us a line secretary@wilstonpandc.org.au to get in touch.

Annual P&C Easter Egg Raffle
The Wilston State School P&C Association are proud to present the 2025 Easter Raffle.
The Easter Raffle is one of the best at WSS! We typically award close to 100 prizes and it generates buckets of eggcitement!
Please help us to do it again this year by donating easter items and purchasing tickets.
Donations can be dropped to Tuckshop or Wilston Kids Care from this week through to Week 9. We welcome all donations including easter treats, novelty items, baskets and easter themed packaging.
Tickets are now live on Munch Monitor and are $2 each, $5 for 3, or $10 for 10. Don’t delay in purchasing your ‘winning’ tickets as it will close at 3.00pm Thursday 27 March.
If you have multiple children and buy multiple tickets, please order tickets against each child separately (like you do when placing tuckshop). This allows them to be allocated to each child.
If your child has a food allergy, we will do our best to accommodate it. Please email the details of the allergy to georgia@gc3.com.au by Thursday 27 March.
Winners will be announced in Week 10 and prizes will be distributed to classrooms.
Thank you for your continued support of the Wilston State School P&C Association and the School.
Kind regards
The WSS P&C Easter Egg Team

KEDRON STATE HIGH SCHOOL INFUSE FOR PRIMARY PROGRAM
This year, Kedron SHS is proud to deliver four exciting offerings for the INFUSE for Primary Program.
- Once again, the popular INFUSE STEAM (Engineering) will once again be offered to Year 3 & 4 students in Term 2 over a 5-week period. The program sees students working through a project from the creation stage, to development to finally producing it themselves. Any students who love or have an interest in STEAM will love this program.
- INFUSE Creative Writing is back! Students will have the opportunity to build an interactive creative narrative. In this program, students will hone their creative writing skills by creating a text-based interactive narrative, supported by multimedia elements, that invites their reader to explore the story in unique ways. This will be aimed at Year 5 students in Term 2 over a 5-week period.
- INFUSE Visual Arts also returns this term. Year 3 & 4 students will have the opportunity in Term 2 to work in our Visual Arts student to create a take home piece of art that showcases their creativity.
- INFUSE History and Geography also makes a return. Students will have the opportunity to delve into significant historical events, landmarks and people and their geographical contexts. Within the program, a mix of multimedia components and digital technologies will be used to enhance the exploration of historical events and geographical concepts in an engaging way.
The application process for Term 2 programs is open now! Please use the following link to apply for a spot in the 2025 INFUSE for Primary programme.
