Year 5 Author Visit – Kiah Thomas

Kiah Thomas will be visiting to speak to our year 5 students on Tuesday, 9 September!

Kiah’s fantasy novel, The Callers, will be studied in class next term, and the second novel in the series has been recently released. While students will be using books provided at school for the novel study, if you would like to purchase a copy of either book for your child, please click the link provided by The Quick Brown Fox bookstore. 

We are looking forward to hearing about meeting Kiah in person and hearing her inspiration for writing this original and appealing new series!

Book Club Issue 6

Have you ordered your Book Club yet? If you choose to purchase, please use the LOOP site  www.scholastic.com.au/loop  which allows you to order online and pay by credit card. We have a quicker turn around than usual this issue.  Issue 6 must close tomorrow afternoon Friday, 5 September by 5pm to ensure delivery before the holidays.
