Fete

T-7 days until the biggest date on the school calendar is here - the Wilston Fete is fast approaching and the anticipation of a mega fun (super sunny!) family day out is building. 

As this is the last newsletter before the big event, the P&C sends notice to our community of the incredible team making up our fete committee this year:

These superstars will be working hard next week to make Fete Day memorable for all students, families and the wider community who will be coming along on the day.  We have had an exceptional level of support from the school office in this mega-venture, and send Wilston-sized thanks to Kathryn O'Hara in particular for her weekly (sometimes daily) support of our committee requests.  The office team have been tireless in their support, coordinating the amazing volumes of donation drop offs and keeping the Wilston Wall at the office updated every week. Thank you. 

Families, now it's your turn. Once you have your sport finals or fixture timeslots in hand for next weekend, we would LOVE your help. Can you sign up to help for a brief 1.5hr timeslot? All stalls still need a few helpers, and we would love to see our families jumping on board to grow our community and donate some time, in between eats, rides, chats and games. Check out the spots still available in the roster and nab your preferred stall before that session closes! Looking forward to seeing you. 

Early bird pricing on the rides will close at 5pm Friday 22 August, but you can still get all-day rides passes and pre-paid cash cards on Munch Monitor up to and on fete day from the P&C stall. Raffle tickets are already selling well and information about the INCREDIBLE raffle prizes (so many prizes!) will be released next week.... All items purchased on Munch Monitor will make their way to your child next week or collected from the P&C Stall on fete day.
