2025 ICAS COMPETITION
Wilston State School students in Years 3 – 6 are invited to participate in the world-renowned ICAS Competitions this year. ICAS is developed by UNSW Global, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of New South Wales, with over 35 years’ experience in educational assessments.
Please note that while ICAS testing takes place at school, it is administered by an external organisation and incurs a cost. Participation is entirely optional and based on parent decision.
What is ICAS?
ICAS is an online academic competition that gives students the opportunity to challenge their higher order thinking and problem-solving skills.
Every student who participates is recognised with a printed certificate in each subject area, and an online results report. Top performers are eligible for one of the highly coveted ICAS medals. We would like to provide all students the opportunity to participate, however, please note, these tests have a very high level of difficulty.
