ANZAC DAY 2025
On Wednesday 23April at 9:00am, Wilston State School will commemorate ANZAC Day during our whole school assembly.
All students must wear formal uniform for the Anzac Day assembly.
Throughout the assembly, we will welcome our special guests, listen to compelling readings and enjoy poignant songs performed by our school choir.
As part of the ceremony, we would love for the significant red poppy to be displayed around the school. So, if you are looking for any holiday activities to keep your children occupied, we encourage you to click on the links below and make your own red poppy. On Tuesday 22April, your child will be given the opportunity to place their poppy on a poppy wall. The poppy will be pinned to the wall by an adult, therefore the poppy does not require a stem or a stick this year.
