LAPS FOR LIFE
After his first lap in the school pool last year at the swimming carnival, Mr Sawbridge is leading a 15 strong staff team taking part in Laps for Life.
The staff team will be taking to the school pool on Friday mornings during the month of March hoping to achieve a staggering 2200 laps of the Wilston State School Pool. They will need to get moving though as Alfred delayed their start last week. This morning the team completed 600 laps!
Laps for Life is a fundraising initiative supporting ReachOut Australia. Reachout is the leading online mental health service in Australia supporting young people. Anonymous, free and 100% online designed specifically for – and with – young people! With more than 1 in 3 young people in Australia currently experiencing a mental health difficult we simply couldn’t think of a better cause.
The team will need to work hard.
Wilston we would love your support if you are able! You can use the link below to follow our blog also!
