On the next senior assembly, Mrs Hall and the 2024 Ambassadors will officially introduce and handover to our 2025 EcoMarine Ambassadors. We are very excited for you to meet our new and enthusiastic environmental leaders!
Clean Up Australia Day at Wilston
A big THANK YOU to the teachers and students that took time to pick up rubbish for our school’s Clean Up Australia Day. We have noticed that there are a few classes that do this on a daily or regular basis, not just on an important day, like this one. We appreciate your time, kindness and consideration for our natural environments. Keep it up!
EcoMarines Clean Up Australia Day
On Sunday 2nd of March, some of our 2025 EcoMarine Ambassadors joined forces with other ambassadors for Clean Up Australia Day. Our dedicated students spent some of their day picking up rubbish around Kangaroo Point. What they found was very sad – LOTS of cigarettes butts, small pieces of plastic, even a car tyre. Their hard work is not only acknowledged but their teachers, parents and Tangalooma EcoMarines, but also the Today Show where they were featured on live TV! We are so proud of our EcoMarines and the great actions there are taking. Thank you, team!
